Stabbert Maritime Completes Extensive Refit on Revelation
SEATTLE, WASH.- Stabbert Maritime completed an extensive refit on board the 183ft M/Y Revelation in June prior to beginning a busy 2006 summer charter season in Alaska. The vessel underwent the refit under the care of Stabbert Maritime’s yacht management division which is also the vessel’s full time manager.
The refit included the addition of a 65 ft house structure which makes up the new Master Stateroom, bath, lounge, and helicopter pad. The vessel tenders, which originally sat where the new structure resides, have been relocated above the new super structure where they are launched using a new state of the art wireless crane system. In addition to the new house structure, the yacht under went extensive work including interior upgrades and an exterior high finish paint job.
The refit was carried out and completed at Stabbert Yacht and Ship, a new fresh water Yacht maintenance facility for select yacht owners located at the entrance of the famous Hiram M. Chittenden Locks off Seattle’s Lake Washington Ship Canal.
About Revelation
Revelation has a long and romantic history, built by Zeigler Marine in 1964 her past guests and owners include former President of Ford Motors Henry Ford II, Frank Sinatra, Hugh Hefner, and Ursula Andress. The Revelation is owned by famous composer Graeme Revell and managed by Stabbert Maritime. She underwent her first refit in 2003 which extended the stern to allow for a swim step along with a complete interior and exterior remodel. She charters her summers in Alaska and past winters in Costa Rica and the Galapagos. Her current winter plans include Mexico’s Sea of Cortez and Costa Rica. Revelation charters for $120,000 plus expenses.
